This recipe was super easy to make as it was from Mob’s Speedy Book, from fridge to table in just 12 minutes. And any recipe that suggests it’s served with crusty bread is a winner in my opinion!
If I’m honest, it wasn’t my favourite but that was no reflection on the recipe!! The sauce was beaut, the addition of chilli relish is genius, I’m just not sold on the whole chickpea thing just yet, I think it’s a texture issue for me! I’m thinking I might try it again in a few weeks with something else, like orzo or giant couscous.
We couldn’t find squid rings annnnywhere so had to settle for a seafood mix instead, which did the job but next time it’s squid all the way!
Are you struggling to get anything else from the shops? We can’t get red pepper or aubergines at our Tesco at the mo 😱
