Anyone who knows me, knows how much I LOVE pasta. I could eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner with ease.
I got a pasta maker for Christmas (thanks Christine) and it’s changed my life already!!
It’s so super easy and we made a huge batch to begin with so it’s lasted us 3 different meals. I’m going to make more this week and batch freeze it so that we can have homemade pasta at the drop of a hat.
This was the last of our debut batch and we just wanted a quick and easy Saturday lunch. So being the chilli fiends that we are, we found a jamieoliver Double Whammy Arrabiata recipe and what a treat it is! We didn’t have any anchovies so switched them out for capers to ensure we still got that salty flavour and it worked a treat.
The crispy garlic breadcrumbs sprinkled on top are truly excellent and I’ve saved some in the fridge to sprinkle on everything else for the foreseeable.
