4 years ago, we made the jump from turkey to beef wellington on Christmas Day and haven’t looked back since.

Isn’t it time to admit that turkey is a subpar meat?

I don’t think we’ll ever go back to getting a bird in for the big day as the welly has become one of our favourite meals of the year.

This year, as always, we used the gordonramsey recipe, adding just a little longer to the cooking time as we found it a little too rare last year.

The wellington is so filling that by the time you’ve eaten it, there’s not much room left so we don’t go too overboard with the sides, sticking to potatoes, pigs in blankets and a sprinkling of veg.

Craving this again already 😭😭
